ALBERGUE PONTE FERREIRA
Albergue Ponte Ferreira started offering shelter to pilgrims on the Primitive Way in 2012. The albergue is located in a typical Galician countryside house, more than 300 years old, restored with attention to detail but preserving its soul by respecting the original stone and wood. At the same time, in includes modern amenities for today’s pilgrims. It has 22 beds in comfortable, solid bunk beds distrubuted in two big dormitories, as well as 5 bathrooms, all of them private.
In our albergue you can relax and rest, chatting with your Camino pals in our terrace with its cold water stream, as you drink or eat something and comment on the details of the day from Lugo or plan the next day stage, which we can help you with if you wish. We have a bar and a dining room with table games, cards, books and magazines, as well as free wifi, available in all common areas, including the terrace. You can of course also do your laundry, either mannually by yourself, or more comfortably by hiring our laundry services.
You can have all meals in our albergue: for lunch you can have a light bite; later on in the evening you can take part in our now famous communal dinner with sea food paella as the main dish. In the morning, we start serving a good breakfast early (we change the time throughout the season depending on pilgrims’ needs).
